Day 1 | Hanoi — Arrival

• Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our driver for a private transfer directly to your hotel
• Hanoi greets you as one of Asia’s most charming capitals, known for its romantic tree-lined boulevards and elegant French colonial architecture, offering a gentle introduction to Vietnam before the trip’s more active days begin
• Check-in to hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure to settle in and explore the area around your hotel

Day 2 | Hanoi — City Tour

• After breakfast, begin your full-day city tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 to honor Confucius and originally serving as Vietnam’s first Royal National University
• Continue to the Museum of Ethnology (or the History Museum as an alternative if visiting on a Monday, when the Ethnology Museum is closed)
• Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century and beautifully situated on Golden Fish Island within West Lake
• Round out the day with a walking tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, weaving through narrow historic streets lined with local markets

Day 3 | Hanoi — Ha Long Bay

• After breakfast, drive to Ha Long Bay and board your overnight cruise vessel
• Enjoy lunch on board as the boat cruises toward Titov Island, followed by an afternoon kayaking excursion among the bay’s dramatic limestone formations
• Back on board, join a Vietnamese cooking class to learn how to prepare traditional steamed rice rolls, followed by a festive sunset party on deck
